美國也開始給付 NaF-18 Bone PET scan

近來 Tc-99m 缺貨以經成為常態了，為了維護症病患造影權益，美國也開始開放給付 NaF-18 Bone PET 來取代 T-99m MDP bone scan.
CMS says it could cover some NaF-18 PET scans for bone metastases
Sodium fluoride-18 PET scans that are used to direct the course of treatment of bone metastases could be covered by Medicare provided that they are performed as part of a clinical trial protocol, the CMS said. However, NaF-18 PET scans used for initial diagnosis of bone lesions would not be covered since there is still not enough evidence showing that the scans are better than other detection methods, the agency said.
